Welcome back to my blog! a lot of time has passed since the original website at www.lehr.me was taken down and replaced with like 10 others throughout the course of months since early 2024. Now with the new year about to hit, I chose my favorite website of all time or at least one that had the most potential to become one and you'll find it at www.lehr.me!
Instead of "starting anew" this year and trying a brand new website ten more times and not getting done, I picked up where I left off with this old one. So far I've plotted how I will create some hopefully "pretty damn cool" animated gifs or mouseover animated gifs on the left side of the main site.
The Classic Games section is up next alongside the rest of the classic doom megasite. I feel that the rest is for now where it can just be for a while but these really need attention. Why have them? Well if you came for Project Warlock, chances are you like music (I've finished that portion. And I'm assuming this because you came for my OST or more information) and old video games.
The Classic Games section will have a full roster of old dos games. I'm planning to at least have 200 for now to get it set up and ready for viewing. I need at least ONE for each letter also. That's also a self-made requirement. It'll have each game housed in the "GAME" folder within a zip, also having DOSBOX and a unique configuration file for the game, tested and ready, all called from a simple batch file that is more or less "unzip... click... and play!" for people who aren't tech savvy when it comes to old dos stuff. I would prefer not only have people that know dos, since its from the 80s and early 90s.
Next will be the Classic DOOM Megasite project. I've mostly made a huge dent in it. But I want it to be as close to all-inclusive with related goods to DOOM and making/playing it as one person can possibly do with my schedule. Its been on the backburner slowly getting small attention for years and I feel the time has come to pull it into the light soon as well.
As for new music to come, eventually I will have (and am very close to) a cheap twelve disc set in two sections for "The Absynthium Collective." Don't panic. Its dirt cheap. Under $40 cheap! Once I finish the already started second disc of MOMENTUM, the fourth double album on it, I already have 3 outtakes discs, one for each double album so far. So last will be the twelfth disc, PENDULUM. which should make sense, since its the 12th. It will be like the clock is also ticking for the next one. Its more or less an "everything else" disc. That's not necessarily due to lack of quality, for it's just stuff that didn't fit on the others. Some duo collaborations where Luke from Project Warlock OST remixed a couple of my songs so I blended both versions together, and some MORE extended remixes of things from the four double albums included.
Also I will call it quits for Noise Vaults after #12 I think. I'm not done with guitar by a long shot, I'm just going to either start a new series or just do what I want without having any sort of structure to it or numbering system. I'm not Trent Reznor or the Insane Clown Posse or anything like that. Its not "album trilogy time" anymore. It's just, what I want when I want ;)
As for the semi-hidden goofy shit, Cherry Rounders is on the backburner but his website is the first priority if I ever get around to him again. Its ridiculously retarded but a LOT still find him online and have probably lost hope in any new material since the few songs since 2006 when I just stopped and moved to Will and Jerry. There will be two normal audio CDs for sale for the first two compilations. I will have a soundcloud account for digital-only rehashes of old songs blended into weird eps that all connect in themselves in bizarre ways. All I will do will be available free digitally, but cost a tiny amount for a physical release. I'm also considering stickers, bumper stickers, and t-shirts, but really I'm not sure about that one.
Lastly, Project Warlock 2 is still in development. Since it was in early access people get a large chunk at a time in the form of a theme. We went back and redux'd the first one after we started the second one due to complaints of the levels being a half hour long. We did the same for theme 2 with major touchups and my role of the musician took me back to the western elements of the second theme that I had thought weren't going to fit and I wasn't good at. I loved my changes. I listened to them for like two solid weeks in my car. Theme 3 I can promise you will be even better!!!!
